Workworm Hired is run by Workworm, a project of Phushsia. This page explains what we keep when you use the service, what stays private, who else handles it, how long we hold on to it, and how to take it back.

What we collect

Your email. We use it to sign you in with a magic link, to send you the link itself, to tell you when a visitor writes through your page, and occasionally to send news about Workworm and Worm. You can unsubscribe from the news at any time, using the link at the bottom of any such email.

Your resume. You upload a PDF. We read it to draft your page and keep it so you can edit the draft later.

Photos and a note. Anything you upload while customizing: a photo or two, an accent color, a short about line, and up to twelve inspiration links.

Visitor messages. If you host with us, when someone uses the form on your page, the message is emailed to you and stored in your account so you can read it there too. If you bought the files, the form is yours to set up and route; we do not see or store those messages.

Payment status. Whether hosting is paid, and until when. We do not store your card number.

What stays private

Inspiration links you paste, from Are.na or Pinterest or anywhere else, are for us while we finish the page. They are not published.

We do not sell what you give us. We do not give you a mailbox at workworm.page. Visitor messages go to the email you already use, not to us.

Who else handles it

Stripe takes the payment and holds your card details. We only see whether a payment succeeded and when the year renews.

Cloudflare stores your resume and the photos you upload, sends the magic-link emails, and serves your page at name.workworm.page. Its logs may record the IP addresses of people who visit your page.

Your email provider receives the magic links and the visitor messages we forward to you. That traffic is between you and them.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set advertising cookies. We do not run analytics on your page. The only thing we set is a signed session token when you sign in, which we need to keep you signed in. It expires.

How long we keep it

A hosted page stays up while the year is paid, or while a free year lasts. After that, the page comes down, but we keep the resume and the draft for thirty days in case you want to renew.

If you ask us to delete everything, we remove the account, the resume, the photos, the draft, and any stored visitor messages within thirty days. A page that is already live comes down right away.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold, correct anything that is wrong, or delete all of it. Write to hello@phushsia.com from the email on the account and we will act within thirty days.

Children

Workworm Hired is not for anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has signed up, write to us and we will remove the account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. We will email you if a change affects how your information is handled.
