# Workworm Hired

> Workworm Hired turns a resume into a finished personal portfolio page. Upload a resume, customize a preset, and the Workworm team finishes the page by hand. The page is hosted at name.workworm.page for $5 a year, or you can take the files for $10 once and host them yourself.

Workworm Hired is a side project of Workworm, the internship and scholarship tracker. It is built under the 42sites freelance web initiative by Phushsia.

## How it works

1. Upload a resume as a PDF. It becomes a draft that the user can edit: headline, about line, and which sections show.
2. Customize the page. Choose a preset (Plain, Cards, Split, or Quiet), an accent color, a photo or no photo, and leave a note with up to twelve inspiration links.
3. The team finishes the page: what leads, what gets cut, and the order. This takes a few days.
4. The page goes live at name.workworm.page, or the user takes the files and hosts them anywhere.

## Pricing

- Hosted: $5 per year at name.workworm.page, with a small Workworm line in the footer. Another page on the same site is $1 per year, using the same preset.
- Files: $10 once, for the first group of customers. The user hosts the files. Fixes are included for one year. A new design is a separate job.
- The first 10 people on the Worm list get one year of hosting free. The year starts when the page goes live.

## Details worth knowing

- One account has one site. A site can have extra pages.
- A visitor contact form is included. Messages are emailed to the page owner and kept in their account.
- Inspiration links from Are.na or Pinterest are private. They are used only while the page is finished and are never published.
- Workworm does not provide email mailboxes at workworm.page.
